Game keeps crashing randomly in multiplayer

Issue Description:
Whenever I join multiplayer. Sometimes at the keep pre-mission, sometimes randomly during the mission. A lot going on doesn’t seem to affect it, I’ve crashed during hordes and during times where literally nothing was happening.

Played a few times and only ever finished one map to completion before a crash.

Update: verified the game files several times, and even uninstalled and reinstalled the game. No change. Also tried an offline run with bots, also crashed.

Update #2: So I believe I fixed it, I googled around and noticed sometimes high thread counts cause issues so I lowered that and havent had a crash yet. Will play some more to be sure.
