Game crashing on launch after update

Game can’t get past the Fat Shark screen on launch. Already turned off all FSR options, so that’s not it. This is the error:

Update: game remains bricked. Even a full reinstall didn’t do it. It just immediately crashes on launch.

Sorry to hear this. Could you please try a clean reinstall of Darktide which also involves deleting your AppData (please note any custom settings e.g. keybinds will be lost)

I verified the files multiple times, and after it doesn’t find any problems, I started the game from darktide.exe. It had an infinitely long loading screen first but after the second try it started.

This was not an update of the author. He/she may still have the problem. Lets see what he/she says.
