FSR2 seems to cause ingame stutters

I have detailed my problem and course of action in another post, I sincerely hope it is allowed to simply link to it. PC specs and a log from early in the process are also attached there.
(The other ticket says I use mods, but my installation no longer has any mod related folders since the reinstall prompted by this problem.)

2-3 Seconds of FPS and Audio lag, sometimes DC with Error 2001 when first looking at Poxbursters

Issue Type (Required): Other Issue Description (Required): Whenever I first lay eyes on any individual Poxburster, I experience a freeze that last for around 3 seconds. The screen freezes at around the time the Poxburster starts emitting the “lit fuse” effects and would normally play the associated sound. Audio is also skipped or heavily distorted for the duration. Have u tried DLSS Enabler at Modding Tools - Nexus Mods, enable frame gen and use xess instead of fsr, it actually looks better.

I also get terrible performance on AMD hardware in this game. According to some of the other posts I’ve read on this subject, it may be an AMD drivers issue. After a specific update to the software, performance tanked, and has never recovered. It saddens me greatly, as I adore this game, but this issue has been around for a while now, with no sign of getting fixed…

Thank you guys for chiming in. I opted for XeSS (and manually updated it to 1.3.1) and am getting very good results.
Frame Generation for some reason usually looks weird to me, I often see artifacts or tearing at the bottom of the screen - this may of course be related to my monitor, (however it has happened on 3 different ones) but whatever it may be, I generally do not like to use it.
