From Darktide to Vermintide

I’ve only played Darktide, and I am starting my Vermintide journey. My controls feel perfect after a couple hundred hours in DT, so I am trying to recreate my settings in VT, but the default control schemes use different values.

I am on Xbox, and the default controller DT settings start at 1.0, but in VT the default values start at 0. So are the numbers equal in both, or is a DT 1.0 equal to a VT 0?

I’m really hoping there’s a numeric answer, so I can avoid popping back and forth between games to try and recreate the feel.

I can’t help with the technical parts…but welcome to Vermintide!

What do you mean the controller settings start at 1.0? Is this sensitivity or something?

I’ve tried both and the aiming system in Darktide felt really floaty and like it had a lot of input latency.

Vermintide 2 feels a lot more sharp and responsive when aiming.

I think this is down to how both games are made and not something you can really copy using the settings.

Yea, this is for sensitivities. When you default the game settings in Darktide, the horizontal and vertical sensitivity starts at 1.0, where in Vermintide the sensitivities start at 0.0.

I was just curious to see if they are quantifiably comparable in any way.

Haven’t played Darktide so I can’t compare, and I do usually use M+KB in Vermintide. However I sometimes play on my Steam Deck, and I found the defaults in Vermintide to be pretty solid.
