Issue Description (Required):

Frequent, constant disconnect crashes on Xbox Series X. When playing a mission, the game will freeze for a couple seconds. Then it will resume but I cannot interact with enemies or objects. After a few seconds, the game either crashes to the Xbox Home Screen or to the game character select. It immediately gives a reconnect option on game restart. It displays error 2014 disconnection as I load back in.

The last two weeks, this occurs at least every three games, if not every game.

Using a wired connection to cable internet with strong connection and open NAT. No other game (tested at least 6) has connection issues on my console on this network.

Steps to Reproduce (Required):

Load into a mission on any character.
Game freezes at random and creates a dsync/disconnect.
Feel frustration.
Game will reconnect to session.
Hope the team has not failed while I reloaded the game.

Hello FS Julia. I made a second report a few weeks ago, but the freezing and disconnect issues on Xbox have not improved.

I am on series X. North America East servers (I guess?).

Following others’ suggestions, I have disabled portrait frames, disabled kill feed, and reduced hud size. It may help a little. I’ve played almost daily for the past 2-3 weeks. I get freezes and disconnects approximately every other game. Last night, I disconnected immediately after rejoining from a disconnect.

I play on auric damnation and regular damnation.

In harder content, the freeze/desync can cause lots of problems, getting shot and downed.

I love this game, but I’m just about done. This has been going on for months now.
