I asked to reopen it because I planned to continue advocating for modifiers becoming more available in the game.

I was specifically going to try and address expeditions and the potential it had to make modifiers great again.

But my hope for the game has already plummeted to HS release levels again, so I’ll just go through the motions for now.

Word, if Warhammer Skulls comes around & Fatshark’s just going to put out another DLC class with zero acknowledgements of the desires for player agency then I may actually just abandon Darktide

So long as the whales keep buying and the Steam reviews stay above Mixed, Fatshark will continue to act like they’re blind, deaf, and mute when it comes to player feedback.

I’m so bored of dlc classes especially since they lock cool weapons I like behind classes I don’t like, and force me to pay to use them

I want crowbar and stub pistols on zealot so badly just so I don’t have to play hive scum. Rn zealot feels boring and not differentiated from other classes because it has so few unique melee weapons

Psyker - 6

Veteran - 5

Ogryn - 12

Arbites - 4

Hive scum - 6

Zealot and arbites badly need new weapons, and ogryn needs reworks to make some more of his melee weapons not mindless M1 mashing simulators

jus sayin krourk IV, paul, karsolas can have some nice combos to spice em up, among other melees

is m1 bashing more effective with bully 3, maybe
is it feeling rewarding…not so much

Considering they didnt actually announce it like they did with the crafting rework/classes rework i extremely doubt it’ll come in the next update.
Maybe in the next 3 years when the player count drops down to vermintide numbers.
Then the genius lead game designer might get an epiphany, or get fired/replaced for doing such a horrendous job.

Honestly think we only see forward motion on anything once review bombs happen or player count drops.

I’ve never seen a company so afraid of their own work.

Ha you’d think they’d learn what’s good for them given enough time !

For example I’ve just come back from a month or two’s hiatus, and because this event’s turning out to be pretty fun and fairly balanced, I’m having a blast playing a couple games every evening.

But I know in a few days I’m gonna drop DT again until Skitarii. BUT what if the other 3/4 of the auric mission board wasn’t filled with the same modifiers for literally the past 4 years ? Maybe I’d wanna stay longer… :melting_face:
