Heroes of Atoma, (rejects is cringe sry) we are happy to announce incoming update blah-blah
2-3 new jungle maps+theme cosmetics - catachan, armageddon ork hunters etc, some orks or grot fang/finger/ear trinkets for weapon (also change there placement so we can see it on every weapon without going into inspection mode)
Map packs+theme drip is an obvious thing to do. Put it in your launcher, put it on loading screen in game. Those silent cosmetics drops are not inspiring at all.
Hyping up a content drop in a manageable way (So hyped content and all) should happen like the DH and the Signal update.
Like the most hyped things atm are the missing weapons (Longlas, Melta, 2h Force Sword, 2h Power Sword, 2h Chain Axe, Shock Mace). Seeing as the Signal update brought 2 weapons. 1 for the Ogryn, and 2 for the Zealot, this one would have to bring 1 for the Veteran, the Longlas for example, and 1 for the Psyker.
Now the thing that need/should be taken from the DH announcement is the uber short trailer that was initially posted before the propper announcement. Here for ease it would be 2 announcement. Each time small grabs of a cinematic where we see the weapon in use. Maybe even saving the other character to switch to the other weapon announcement (Start with Psyker, killing in melee when he get ambushed but saved by Vet Longlas).
Now for the Tool of War 2 update. If they want to hype it up. I would create a new Npc, even if we never see him in-game. That Npc, could be Brunt (The Ogryn who manage the armoury) or a Ratling fr example that act like Payday’s Gage. Who talk about his mew cargo, and maybe having Morrow or another character saying to give it to the Rejects
