then if someone wakes up daemonhost or exploding poxburster near to teammates, enemies mechanic should be nerfed? it makes no sense.
it is like saying the new map is bad and has to go away, because teammates can’t work as a coordinated team.
when in reality the map is fine and good, and a good way to wake up teammates discovering how to play as a team.

same way for barrels… if someone shoot barrels near to teammates either by accident or not, making them instantly die, then is it better to remove barrels because of those interactions? ok
dunno why the “knockback” has to go, it barely does nothing, the damage is also not of an issue considering how it doesn’t remove that much health.
see, you’re almost there. no they shouldn’t remove barrels, what they should remove is griefable mechanics - in this case knockback. i wish i was as blessed as you are to barely ever get teammates who shoot a burster/flamer next to me on aurics, but unfortunately not everyone can be so fortunate.
understanding your privilege (of mostly competent teammates in this case) is the first step towards becoming a competent player :^)
but also barrels do a have knockback and there are unfortunate moments where players may die because of those (for example flying away off the map)
i honestly never encountered issues where flamer’s knockback would make me die.
a reduction in damage i would understand, but removing entirely knockback would make them not fun and removing one of the core mechanic of flamers. also, it wouldn’t be very realistic. since poxbursters and barrels make you fly away. not sure why an explosion of a flamer shouldn’t make you fly away.
and i stand by it, i dont see why those things should ever be able to throw 50m away and off the map bounds. yes 50m away, they throw you much further if you’re midair the moment they detonate (eg. you jumped, or got knocked up some other way) lol
