Flamer explosion mechanic

Now flamers exploding when shot in the tank makes sense, its cute.

But, the radius of the explosion is kinda friggin huge, it also seems to go straight through your armor and directly to your health with knockback added on top, something which i find to be kind of an annoying mechanic.

The hitbox for the gastank also seem to be pretty large compared to its relative size, i have triggered it a few times when shooting at a flamers head with a revolver, now that might be due to latency or whatever but it still seems kinda messed up.

Also autos just seems to set it off instantly.

We basically have walking barrels at this point.

Thoughts?

The knockback is something for sure. Rejoice rejects, we have mobile barrels in the game.

I miss the days when the mobile barrels we had were pretty much just barrel carrying slayers jumping face first into the nearest horde.

It’s just another pox walker now. Shoot it before it gets too close.

And if you time it just right, you can benefit from that explosion and liquid fire.

Flamers were nerfed when they didn’t instantly break toughness anymore, now they are a little more dangerous again, which is good I think because the game has been getting easier in the meantime.
