Flensing Protocols loses stacks on Plasma Gun vent

Venting the plasma gun when you’re at high heat will make you take slight bits of damage, but this is also making the player lose flensing protocols stacks. Of course, it does exactly as it says, but I feel like this was an oversight since it’s the only source of self-damage that Skitarii can inflict? I can’t imagine that you’d think it’s somehow worth it to lose 3 stacks every single time you want to use your gun? Frankly, I just find it obnoxious and see it as something that unnecessarily limits your choices in builds.

Steps to Reproduce (Required):

  1. Equip the Plasma Gun
  2. Get to high heat
  3. Press special attack to vent
  4. The player will lose stacks of flensing protocol for each instance of damage taken.

Yes, but I haven’t tried disabling them

Yeah this might just be what it is. Just put the plasma gun away and go to melee if it’s at high heat. Or run another keystone (or lack of one) if using plasma.

Not sure if they would make an exception for this, especially since plasma is pretty good.
