Been trying weapon attack patterns and combos for different enemy types lately. At first look, the Bully Club special attack looked like a stagger inducer for a nice combo starter but goddamn it turned out to be much more than that
When I first realized I can slap maulers and crushers silly, it got a solid scream-laugh out of me. A heavy-light-light combo followed by a nice, solid slap to finish 'em off is such a satisfying feeling. The fact that they donāt die immediately but slowly bleed to death makes it feel ten times better hehe.
I donāt think Iāll be able to use any other primary for Ogryn from now on
yeah, after clubbing a bunch of ragers, the last one standing gets slapped to death when thereās time for it. need to teachāem whoās strongest, sah.
donāt wanna be the party pooper, yes bully 3 is fun with the slap but the light attack on repeat feels a bit on the virtua fighter 2 jeffrey b b b part.
krourk IV has a solid variation of shove, punch heavy and light sweeps.
itās a far fetched comparison since i only played it briefly due to non optional pvp in crucial map parts, but black desert online for the first time since age of conan had a melee system that almost felt like beat em up depth.

knife gives me a bit of that depth instead of mouse one-ing with the occasional (or machine-gun) slap
had a C I VI with bully 3 for testing recently and boy did it feel dirty
they are all the same, the difference is in the follow up light. on Mk1 it comes back to L1. on the Mk2 itās a punch with extra weakspot scaling (basically the one from the knife) then comboing into L4 iirc. on the Mk3 its a diagonal swing that replaces L1, and has a better damage fall off to cleave targets after the 2nd hit than L1/L2 (very obtuse benefits).
Haymaker only procs on heavy attacks. They fixed it proccing off bleeds and lights in the public beta.
However for the sake of this blessing on combat knife some moves are considered heavy attacks, specifically push attack and specialālight. I think the punch on the club should be added to this, along with the strikedown light.
Keep your PIMP HAND strong PimpGryn! As long as you have Heavy Hitter, Impactful, &No Hurting Friends, you can totally cheese Daemonhosts & Chaos Spawns with slap spam.
The impact from Heavy Hitter isnt even needed to perma stun Daemonhosts unless it is nurgle blessed, Chaos Spawns do require all the impact from the tree but can be stunned with either the mk 3 shovel uppercut or just throwing rocks at it, very fun
The other nodes are for the damage output. The others at max stacks are for the damage specifically. You need all of these to be the most effective. Because you never know if youāll encounter other monstrosities within the same match, right. Itās better be safe than sorry, Iād have them on.
