Feedback on Mortis Trials

Yeah this is not difficult. It stands up as a potential PVP map/mode, but without solo play it has little training utility.

What this mode feels like is basically a data gathering exercise by Fatshark, performed at player expense (we’re running through and breaking things), in order to derive new combat mechanics.

Which is fine, honestly, provided it comes with something else. If the patch is just this, it feels like a dump of existing story assets to wring some more content out of the game.

In which case you guys should give us an environmental SDK, so we can build our new maps/environments.

Where’s the Grendyl and Nurgles already? Cmon guys this story progression is painfully slow. You’ve got the combat mostly down, your mission archtypes have been pretty good, and Fatshark has been consistently laying the groundwork for some thing else with Operations, Havoc, and beefed up Sefoni testbed.

That’s okay and all, but we need more to keep it sustainable and feeding the combat loop. Playuers need motivation to play and get into the combat loop. They need a reason to keep trying out new and existing weapons.

New environmental buffs are welcome - but also add more elements (Ice/water seems an easy one); but also add more - iterate on the these test beds faster than Fatshark has been (e.g. change/update cycle every 2 weeks to a month) - use that to drive engagement with devstreams and opener source environemtns and drag and drop placement of existing assets.

Also add the other Chaos factions, Leman Russes, and the obviously planned Necrons and Tyrannids.

Also difficulty for this mod even at Damnation is too easy - add more difficulties, and more environments.
