Anyway, back on topic. Patches are quality controlled on PS4 and Xbox One, but this has been known for years. And patches have been free to implement for years. Using the fact that patches go through quality control just doesn’t fly nowadays – while there is a time delay while the patch goes through QA, its nowhere near a three month delay.
I understand though that patches and fixes take time. I’m not put out by the delay – these things are understandable and (mostly) acceptable. My big point of contention is the lack of communication to the console community. Remember, we were told that a patch was finally going to come late last week? It didn’t arrive – and no communication on what happened. I even waited until today to post about it giving them the usual Tuesday patch window, and still no communication. A simple “Sorry this got held up in QA, we’re waiting on approval still, we expect this to be done in another two weeks” would have been fine. Radio silence is not.
On a side note, I have a band of Plague Monks that were un-hittable in my game today. That was a fun time…

Julia just made a post about the console releases; it seems there was a staffing issue (which, for anyone who has worked a job, we all know can cause some big problems). Should be approved and pushed live soon.

Yes the update works fine with the exception of one thing that I can see…if you remain idle for a short time in the keep it crashes the game. It happened to me a few times and also to Senticolis a few times. Other than that, everything is working great. Even the load times are much much better. I would say we are joining within 5 to 10 seconds which is beautiful.
But overall, very good job on this update guys.

Wait, did the update go live? I haven’t seen a Dev post about it?
No it’s in beta. I got it in the 20th. Shortly after I posted this lol. I’m assuming it will go live any day. Works good though. Load times are greatly improved. I’m happy

I’m super excited to hear that the console folks are already enjoying it’s effects
how fantastic! That means we will have all-the-more people getting into the fray and preventing the End-Times.
Good news all-around!

How does the future look for Fatshark if they keep delaying updates for months on consoles
Hey, maybe you should try making the same post over and over again, asking the same thing?
Oh wait…

sorry man , don’t know you . I probably get banned in next couple of days
I think that’s 99.999% of the internet; none of us know one another. That’s… uh…
… that’s pretty normal. I know nearly nothing about almost anyone on this forum, but that has nothing to do with me being a polite person to those same people.
Soon™ is a classic move to be used by companies, but I have a feeling @FatsharkJulia was being very forward with us by letting us know about the staffing issues. It was certainly delayed, but I’d call that a very good reason to have a delay.
Therein, I think it pretty well proves that nagging them didn’t move them along any faster; they needed time to get their team up to speed. I’m glad they did it, too, because they now have a team that’s better able to give the console-folks more regular updates!
Plus, @davemarah is already playing it in the beta and seems pysched. Let’s share that feeling!

Perhaps try changing your behavior that will result in said ban? They’ve given you a lot of chances, as you would say, “chillax”.
