What are you talking about…?
you guys are getting your focus wrong.
If fatshark did everything well the number of sales and earnings will speak for themself.

Why should we care about those toxic players? If some changes could make them leave then i will be so happy about it. And then more normal players gona join us.

The only thing we should do is to keep the game healthy, logical and fun.
So let’s just get back to the game itself.

Bro actual years later and you’re still on about this class vendetta that doesn’t exist.

We play all classes here. Furthermore last I checked DS is available to all human classes, so how you twist nerfing that one to be anti Vet is beyond my comprehension.

Stop inventing excuses, your crutch is getting nerfed, which it thoroughly deserves

I would still say that the first season of Havok affected veterans much more than other classes in every aspect except gold toughness, with the combination of massive ammo reduction and hard to visually differentiate ranged damage resistance.

I’m just giving my 2 cents, Fatshark decides whether the game lives or dies by listening to the wrong people or correct people.

Arrowhead Game Studios learned their lesson extremely fast and ignored the spreadsheets that the CEO himself said. And their game still has nearly half a million players on Steam alone. despite having a much smaller IP fanbase .

Somehow they made the mission board look even worse.

The mission map icons going for pixel look and randomly spaced entire screen.

That saturation on the map icons is hideous.

Yes and your reductiveness has triggered my tisms.

Arrowhead nerfed their game into the ground first before everybody revolted, on two separate occaisions in the same year. And even though they’re substantially better now, they still nerf things! Some of it’s genuine balance and some of it is petty. I uninstalled because they killed my decidedly b-tier build and all but deleted the one armor class I spent real money on.

Their philosophy to balance is for every good thing they do for the player, they do two things against the player until people revolt.

To put it in Dtide terms; year 1 Arrowhead nerfed the powersword, thunderhammer, chainswords, headhunter autos, shredder auto, Lawbringer, Twin-linked Heavy Stubbers, and also programmed all enemies to aim at the player’s head and gave them the ability to score weakspot kills so no one on any difficulty could survive more than 2 hits. It was terrible.

Weapon buffs are cool and good for PR but the truth is the meta for HD2 is the same it’s been since launch: wear light armor and speedrun, something Arrowhead high-key enforces.

Arrowhead owes its 3 million concurrent players to the fact that its Live Service model is shockingly pro-player and the only time they’ve f*cked that up was because of Sony selling this game to 40 something countries that are blacklisted by Playstation’s subscription service… basically stole from several tens of thousands of people, i forget the full details or if they ever fixed that.

But for every Live Service FOMO bullsh*t games do, Arrowhead has committed to doing the opposite and that is amazing. Content drops every month, new enemies, new factions, new subfactions, new biomes, farmable FOMO currency, events people actually want to play, and a story that actually completely revolves around the playerbase.

I love DTide, but FS is never, ever, ever going to do half of those things. The whole studio will self-immolate before they ever allow Aquillas to be collectible in missions for free and Commodore’s Vestures isn’t going to be improved without an act of terrorism happening, first.

That’s just so many more things involved in Helldiver’s success than nerfing the Power Sword.

For sure, and everyone can indeed give their two cents. I just don’t find the argument that everyone asking for nerfs is a jealous Zealot main particularly compelling.

Edit: As a sign of sincerity I will add this. Nerf IoD yesterday. Nerf Duelist last week. Do it ASAP, those are some tasty Zealot nerfs I’d love to see.

Most players don’t care to give a feedback also.

It’s not a competitive game, so it doesn’t matter what difficulty you are playing, lower difficulties exist for a power fantasy chill gameplay. Higher difficulties shouldn’t be the most populated, it’s a weird distribution.

Also that disregard towards “sweatlords” is funny, cause in many cases it’s sweatlords who become testers and even devs.

They did a few weeks back, the only ones left are ones that ban Steam/are under international sanctions.

See: how they LITERALLY TODAY went back to not offering Aquilas as event rewards despite universal feedback of ‘yeah this is great and we want it to be the standard going forward’.
