That just mathematically doesn’t make any sense to me. Some quick napkin math and I couldn’t see a bigger reduction than from 7 → 5 (1000 damage attack on enemy with 6001 HP) for +25% damage. Something else is different in your test or perks are secretly mega bugged. Assuming perks work as the numbers say that’s definitely a significant reduction in hits to kill but I’d disagree it’s build altering.
yeah i know you havent its just the debate moved. the original thing i replied to was someone claiming that this new patch changed nothing and you had to have 4 perfect rolls to make any build . thats a ways away from having really bad gear might make some builds too sub obtimal
but you are the third person making points on that side not saying you moved the posts just the thing has shifted quite a ways , but anyways i do agree with your point.
Another reason is that you don’t know whether a specific build works as you intend on the higher difficulties unless you get perfect tiers of the rng perks and blessings. It is annoying to experiment with new builds when you first have to muck about for 50 hours to get one weapon with the right P&B’s and then hope to god for good attribute rolls. I pity the fool who actually tries to make multiple builds in this game that amount to something.
Ahahah I knew it! Even if they caved to you whiners, you’d still have plenty to whine about.
There’s a gear system in the game. It’s not a basic card/perk/ability tree, you actually need to grind to get the good gear. Maybe another game is more your speed
Yeah I got really lucky in the early days of not-crafting when refining wasn’t even in, Veteran managed to get the most usable curios by far and at least 10% of the 380s I’d see when I checked were power swords for him. Too bad he’s still my least used class.
