Fatal error crash causes drive with darktide to be unaccessible. (error 0x800701b1)

Issue Description (Required):

Whenever I launch the game it will crash after a few minutes and display a popup about a “fatal error”. Not only that but the drive it is on will stop functioning until I restart my computer. Windows still shows its there but I can’t access any of the files until I’ve restarted. (I just get a popup of 0x800701b1) I’ll include a screenshot of the error.

I’ve tried deleting appdata, verifying files (both on steam and the launcher), I’ve checked my drive health, and now I’m doing a reinstall of Darktide. It’s not a bad drive, I’ve had it for over a year with no issues.

I’ve installed darktide on a different drive and so far haven’t had the error. (not sure it matters but I went from an nvme m.2 drive to a sata ssd.)

I can confirm this is still happening. Stopped playing for a while, came back and installed on a new secondary drive and started intermittently getting this error. Tried verifying files, fresh install after deleting files in %appdata% folder and turning off Steam Cloud saves. Will try to install on OS drive and see if that helps.
