I spawned with no scanning device equipped while doing an Expedition (Eta).
Proceeding to the next zones didn’t alleviate the issue.
The other players that joined me had the same issue during the expedition and we had to aimlessly wander around until we came across a point of interest.
it tells you on the map but its not super clear what it means really, honestly if I hadn’t read about it on these forums I would thought it was a bug also!
One of the worst UI’s i have ever encountered to this day.
This game, in general, does a pizz poor job at informing the player.
The fact that i will still run across people who aren’t aware that crafting resources are shared regardless of who picks them up is just another wonderful example of that.
Incredible, isn’t it? A timed mode that encourages you to quickly reach points of interest doesn’t have a map… The idea behind the modifier is so bad that it’s natural to think it’s a bug.
that’s a little harsh, what FatsharkJulia was doing is being courteous to you to take your feedback as to where you would like to see it, quite professionally, not asking you to do someone’s job
I am still waiting for them to address the AMD GPU issues, backfill issues, audio cue issues, removal of mic selection and numerous other issues that have been around for many a moon.
So pardon me if i am getting annoyed by this continued display of neglectful behavior.
Even took a lengthy break from them game. Hoping ONE thing would be addressed.
So much for that.
Instead i returned to worse client and server side performance. What else is new?
I agree, this is an issue. I always play Quickplay, and the mission parameters are never relayed for any mission. It would be nice to press the tab key (on a PC) to get a quick overview of the mission parameters. No ammo pick-ups, lights outs, and other special conditions. I know I always play Auric, but sometimes I play Damnation or lower to help one of my friends level a new character. The mission you are in never confirms if you are playing Auric, which should be fixed at a basic level.
I used to play The Division, and by far, its social and mission screens are the worst. In the Division, I used to be able to see where my friends were in their missions (mission, location, and percentage complete) to decide whether to wait or start my own mission. Quality of Life (QOL) things you would expect require mods from Nexusmods. I mean, ammo as a percentage, really, that should be standard, and there are many basic QOL things that should be included in this game. Health bars for Elites and Specials are another example.
Team invites are almost invisible while playing, yet it works in other high-intensity games.
