I’ve got a Catachan Blade with the Executor blessing in Melk’s shop…
But even with the description and a Google search, and a search on this forum, I still don’t know if this Blessing even works, because unlike Headtaker or other similar blessings, Executor doesn’t even have a time limit specified…
Has someone tested this already ? I don’t want to blow all my Melkbucks(r) on a Blessing that doesn’t even work.
I assume you checked in Psy testing grounds, by repeatedly attacking a high HP mob into its weak point?
No, I have not bought it yet. It costs a lot of weekly currency…
You live only once Please DO report back your findings
I’m quite certain this description is mistranslated or misleading, because a Power boost without a time limit included is just stupid. The previous description during the beta didn’t even specify +% of what. Talk about dumb mistakes.
OK so I got my hands on a Combat Blade with the Blessing screencapped above in the Weapon shop, and the results are somewhat unsurprising.
- You only get a stack with the second weakspot hit
- Stacks only last about 2 seconds without a weakspot hit
All in all, this Executor is a strictly worse version of Headtaker from the Tac Axes, which only requires a single Hit and lasts 3.5 seconds.
The only use of this blessing, on its own, is that it improves the Combat Blade’s horde clear : on Heresy, swings normally hit 2 Poxwalkers, but with a single stack of +4% Power, you hit 3 Poxwalkers with a light attack. Heavy attacks are single target no matter what…
In theory it could be combined with a high-rank Uncanny Strike (+rending on weak spot hit) for a nice combo against Crushers and Maulers, and better horde clear as a bonus. But we still don’t have crafting lmao so we can suck it I guess
