Error applying a weapon ilusion

I want to apply an illusion weapon; specifically to a Drakecannon. The problem is, when I have everything ready (weapon and illusion placed) and pulse “apply illusion”, the orange forge bar is filled but it has no effect, it keeps sounding and the order isn’t finish.

This already happened to me before several patches with the same weapon and illusion, and I hoped that in some they had fixed it.
