The overcomplicated system where you give up a weapon to earn a blessing does not even work. I have given up multiple weapons to earn blessings and I have earned no blessings. This is as veteran. The crafting system is useless.

When you extract a blessing, are you trying to re-bless a weapon of the same pattern with the blessing?
