Issue Type (Required):
Player Mechanics
Issue Description (Required):
I have no idea where the root of this problem lies, so i just put it under Player Mechanics since it has to do with the down state and death.
Getting hit by an overhead from a crusher can sometimes just outright kill you. No down state. Full health, no corrupted wounds. I’ve never seen this in 600 hours playtime.
Unsure if this is an issue specific to crushers, or if maulers have this problem too. It’s unclear how or why this happens in the first place, they function normally most of the time. If more info is needed, I don’t know what to provide other than this video of the issue.
Steps to Reproduce (Required):
Get hit by an overhead from a crusher.
[PC] Do You Use Mods? (Optional):
Yes, but I haven’t tried disabling them
Reproduction Rate (Required):
Unusual (<25%)
Platform (Required):
PC - Steam
Upload Supporting Evidence (Optional):
Havoc has “fun” hidden modifiers, one of those modifiers gives all enemy melee attacks a percentage of corruption damage.

play zealot with untill end and you find out why
Yes that’s it.
Low total hp is also a factor. Two days ago I saw a psyker instadie to a burster jumping on him in auric. I think he had full health before.
That’s pretty funny but also impossible, they probably got hit by another enemy in the same moment, like a second burster, an elite/special or something. Bursters normally deal 100 health damage while Psyker has a base 150 hp.

It was pretty unexpected, but there were no other spawns left.
Do you think something buggy went on?
Without a video I’m inclined to say no.

Thanks, this REALLY should be clarified, but even then that feels overkill as hell. I wish more stuff was explained. Like when I first start playing, had no idea that health damage was only nullified completely at 100% toughness. Never knew what
Auric did until I searched it up and found it from the community. I’ll review the full video (too big for the website), listen and watch for anything else that could’ve assisted in killing me that quickly(or if it was just the corruption).

Upon further analysis, yes, it is the overhead that does it. The poxburster exploded far too late to have relation to the cause. It does, in fact, seem to be a skill issue. However, I’m gonna have to request that all these hidden mechanics can be THOROUGHLY READ somewhere other than scribblings on the wall from other community members. I’ll probably make a post regarding a suggestion later?
But for now, issue resolved, no bug here. Let post close. Thanks all for jumping on this to help clear the confusion!
