Dying randomly with HP and Toughness, even when no enemies near

Issue Description:
Once or twice every few runs (usually running on heresy), with or without enemies around, I have immediately been downed and killed (can not be picked up) while at anywhere between half and full hp, usually at full toughness.

I had 2 wounds at first when i noticed this happening and thought that it was a random one shot from a mob nearby that killed me while below 1 wound of hp.
I equipped a few curios to increase my wounds to 4 but still i will still sometimes randomly COMPLETELY die.

Most recent instance of this was when i went to pick up an ally from a ledge.
there were NO enemies nearby or far away.
No snipers, nothing. i picked him up and started walking away.
I had 90-95% HP and full toughness.
As i walked away, i dropped dead.
My team couldnt pick me up. It was as if i just took an infinite amount of damage, got knocked down and kept taking that damage and was killed in the downed state immediately.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Play random quickplay, heresy, zealot preacher.
  2. Play normally
  3. randomly die to unknown source of infinite damage

It might be similar to V2 where if you clip into map geometry a certain way you just die.

maybe.

although this last time i died, it was out in the open on a flat surface, away from any walls or uneven ground so idk.

still could be.

it just has happened often enough in the last few days that it feels like something else might be happening.

EDIT: Also as a zealot, when this happens, the death-save perk is not triggering or is just being ignored.

The last patch has made this issue even worse from what i can tell. Iv had this bug occur to me from time to time, but during this patch, it has been a common occurrence, to the point where it makes the game almost unplayable. But in my case it doesn’t feel like poor killbox placement, it just feels like a lingering hitbox of insta kill damage, because it lasts for a brief period of time, and it typically kills like 2 players before it goes away…

Or maybe there isn’t a bug and there is someone writing our names in death notes :smiley:
But seriously I hope this bug gets resolved pretty soon, its pretty disruptive when it happens.
