DX12 Visual Difference - Bug or Feature?

So for the past week or so, I’ve been trying to figure out if the visuals in DX12 are wildly different due to a bug, or if that appears to be intended. DX12 just seems to have a higher contrast, bloom, and sharpness setting than DX11, making the flames appear much better and adding a certain “mood” to the game that makes DX11 washed out.

As an example, I took some shots in the keep during the same times of the day to show the difference.

Was this intended, or did something change prior to the closed beta?
