I don’t mind dreg rager changes, but it’s apparent in several instances where dreg rager ice skates in order to track players. It’s like dreg rager has commando pro equipped all of sudden while scab ragers animations match with their attack speeds.
All I’m asking for is dreg ragers moving speed while swinging to be drecreased somewhat, that’s all.
They’re janky as hell now. There is no knowable distance for their attacks, they have no audio half the time, the axe swing hits you from outside the room before the animation shows it and their speed up just looks like they get increased fps compared to the rest of the game- like when you see a 60fps 3d shot in a 24 fps movie and just looks shite. They’re animations don’t even have to start the attack before they’re eaten 2/3 of your HP. They ignore even grenades to the face and some get a random god mode… we had a match where me and 2 ogryns were literally ping ponging ONE rager back and forth- 2 nades, 12 head shot voidstrikes and a constant barrage from a heavy stubber… it was just janking about 360 hitting everyone, not even loading it’s feet moving, for like 2 mins (long time in game play)… then when 6 more spawned out our asses was pretty much GO.
That’s not “challenging”… it’s broken.
See all these… there’s 5 more off camera circling me… I shat those. No audio, nothing around me, 0.5 seconds, fps drops to 10 then back up, and this was all around me. No places to waterfall, just out the damn air, 10+ sped up ragers. With one hit taking 2/3 of HP and all stamina, having them simultaneously swinging when they appeared, I was down and dead before my HP bar got a chance to register the hits. The rest of the team already rage quit after 1 fell through the map and the others we swarmed by waterfalling crushers below. There is NO way to fight that. That is janky shite!
If I’m not mistaken they operate on a slot system. If say a crusher or rager has you in their slot. You can only break the attack by dodging. Which leads to sometimes getting hit by a crusher or rager that should be in no way be able to reach you.
I’m not sure how they could fix that without revamping the entire dodge/attack tracking system.
They’re missing a leap attack so right now they only have this weird move that looks like their normal attack but is actually a moving attack that tracks harder through dodging. It’s very dumb especially since they seem to pre-emptively strike you a lot compared to their scab counterpart.
