I keep seeing posts on reddit from people being tricked into spending 10 minutes verifying their game files every time an update is released, and it’s understandable because the popup in the launcher makes it seem like this is necessary. In practice, most people figure out that they can cancel out of the popup and stop doing the file verification.
File verification should only be undertaken if someone is having issues with the game. I recommend changing this popup to appear next time the launcher is opened after the game has crashed, instead of automatically appearing after the game is updated. Bug reporting UI (on this forum, on reddit, etc.) could also recommend verifying the game files.
