Geforce NOW regularly verifying files after each patch

Hi, me and also my partner use Geforce NOW to play Darktide, and lately after every patch it requires us to verify files, which is a lengthy process, so if we just leave it there to let it verify in peace, the Geforce now session can time out due to inactivity and we have to start over again. So it can take a long time till we can finally start to play.
I’ve been using Geforce NOW for around a year and this only started to happen with the last few patches.
I just wanted to share this bothersome experience, we hope there is a solution for it.

It does this with regular Steam as well tbh.

I can’t provide an immediate solution, but I do understand the issue! I’ve launched Darktide a few times today myself and have been prompted each time to verify files. I’ve mentioned this internally as it did feel a bit much.

I believe it’s possible to decline the verify files prompt though and proceed normally.

The game has continuously told me to verify files since the Path of Redemption update.

I’ve been able to play normaly without verifying once. I assume it’s just a launcher issue.

What even is the point of the prompt?
Even if you accept it, and it manages to find something wrong (probably because of mods) - it does nothing.

At least on Steam my experience has been that after clicking yes, I have to wait for the lengthy process to finish - and upon finding something wrong, nothing happens.
So that means that I have to close the game, go into Steam properties and manually start a file verification myself - which just repeats the lengthy process again.

This feels like such a waste of time.
