he means that sometimes dogs hit a wierd lag issue where they will jump either miss or get pushed, and then somehow autocorrect to having successfully landed on their target.
happened to me a few times. no idea why that’s goin’ on.

I have had some times where I exclaimed “I dodged that!” at a doggie. I just put these things down to a bit of lag or jankiness.
