i just wanna make sure i’m not alone in this, i really like westerns and i wouldn’t mind having some western style cosmetics like a rancher hat with a bandana mask and an open brown long coat, maybe a skin for the combat knife too. as for the six shooter, i just really like those too and would love to see one and i wanna make sure that everybody else wants one too, the current revolvers are nice and all but you can’t go wrong with a 6 shooter. also the ammo on the revolvers triggers my OCD, even with the veterans extra ammo passive, the newest one will trigger my OCD because it doesn’t amount to a full cylinder, just most of one.

The only official 40k precedent I know of (as in don’t take this as being the sole example) in terms to Western themed stuff is ‘Slick’ Devlan from the old Inquisitor RPG/Skirmish game. He was designed to be analogous to Western gunfighters.
Compared to a lot of the cosmetics we’ve had so far, I think some Western based ones could be quite nice, so long as the quality was ok. That, I know, is quite the gamble given the range of quality of premium cosmetics we’ve seen since release.
Re: revolvers and ammunition count, you’re not alone. I purposefully shoot as many rounds as I need to to get an ammo count in the 0 or 5 range. Don’t know if we need 6-shooters, as the 2 revolvers we have do the job. Maybe they could give us a combo like Slick’s: revolver and semi-automatic.

I think the revolvers we have now are somewhat based on IRL big bores which are five shot to hit the right amount of chamber thickness without going any heavier then needed. Most are for big game hunting.
Matching that to a break action isn’t real-world, but it’s cool so I’m not complaining. (Solid is stronger.)

as for the 5-shooter revolver, i guess it was done for balannce purposes, but a 6-shooter with slightly less damage per shot would be ok.
