Dodging on controller is poorly implemented

The way dodge and jump are implemented on controller is awful. I can’t count the number of times I have been downed because I was off absolute left or right by one degree and therefore my character jumped instead of dodged.

There are two solutions that I would recommend:

1: Bind jump to something other than the same button as dodge.

2: If jump and dodge are going to be bound to the same button make jump a maximum of a 30 to 45 degree cone on the stick, and anywhere else on the stick a dodge. Right now it feels like jump is a 180 degree hemisphere on the stick. It makes it almost impossible to dodge accurately to either side.

in case anyone comes across this. if you go “options” > “controller” and then select the controller layout: Bumper Button Dodger from the drop down list. from there you have the jump and dodged mapped to two different buttons and you can use remapping etc. to get what you want in most cases
