DLSS disabling sharpness filter

So I figured out why the DLSS implementation looks so blurry, it’s because DLSS forces off the Sharpness Filter.

I think this is probably a bug since in Darktide the Sharpness Filter can be left enabled while DLSS is on, improving the image quality drastically.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Look around the game without DLSS on, but make sure sharpness filter is off. The game will look quite blurry
  2. Turn DLSS onto quality mode and then look around, the image quality will look the same as when the sharpness filter is off (that’s because DLSS automatically disables the sharpness filter anyway)
  3. Turn DLSS off and enable the sharpness filter, here you will see the game suddenely becomes very crisp to look at again.

Solution to fix this problem:

Allow us to keep the sharpness filter on with DLSS.

yeah it was the case with FSR before the patch as well, sadly.
