Yesterday, me (Sabatootin) and my friend Elzunix were banned from the discord server for “encouraging NSFW” and “encouraging hornyposting”. I disagree with this ban for following reasons:
- I fail to see how posting a drawing of a bimbofied Saltzpyre and discussing how much it would fit him fall under reasons mentioned above. The drawing was clearly SFW and the fact that it managed to start a lewd discussion is absurd to us;
- The following “discomforting” discussions clearly weren’t carried out and fueled by neither me nor the banned individual mentioned above. I suspect that the mod team haven’t read into the discussion and made hasty conclusions. Additionally, I don’t really understand how me posting a gif of Saltzpyre eating Lay’s counts as “fueling” the discussion;
- This has been mentioned by one of the mods already during our ban, but there’s clear bias about who should be punished for what they’ve said and who shouldn’t be. I won’t be pointing fingers, but certain users have said far worse things than us (even thought we haven’t, really) and weren’t punished whatsoever.
In conclusion, we consider this an unfair ban. I won’t deny that Elzunix’s artwork of bimbofied Saltzpyre could’ve started sexually-themed and lewd discussions. But once again, they were in no way fueled by us, especially by me who hasn’t said a thing during this incident. I call for understanding and further investigation of this situation by the mod team. We only wish to share our works and show love for the game.
