Disappointed Whale

Really, a different opinion here.
Expeditions were a big disappointment. Really something I did not want. If I want a shooter extraction, I play a game from this genre (like arc raiders that I play actually).
As a result, I actually play less often Darktide… Yesterday, I played one mission. Mainly to test ray tracing on Linux (yes it works now with Darktide)
But I feel less and less pleasure in the game. Mainly because of lack of balance. yes, we are still here… 3 years I wait for a solo game mode ou a balance… both never come.

Your problem, IMO, is the lack of content for main missions, rather than the mode itself.

It being a mode means it can be played or ignored, depending on personal preference.

The trouble is that it is the only new content we have to play…so the absolute content drought of the main missions is the real issue as it is forcing people to play expeditions even if they don’t like it, simply because it is anything new.

If we had more main mission content then you could remain indifferent to expeditions as you’d be occupied with content elsewhere.

No one has to enjoy all the modes and as long as regular content now drops for all of them then it shouldn’t be an issue…but have FS overreached their ability with such a large scope? Will they be able to push out content for all game modes regularly? Evidence suggests they have likely spread themselves too thin but we have to see.

Maybe you shouldn’t turn game into religion? Enjoy it for what it is and don’t be afraid to take a break every now and then.

I also don’t want it to be this, but I don’t think we’re there yet.

It’s an actually good game based on W40k so it was already a religion at it’s inception

There’s a full thread of people replying and engaging with the topic above and after you and THIS is what you had to say?

No point doing the same thing as the people who annoy you
