Maybe a long shot, but I hereby claim credit for the Pack Master idea. Not exactly what i suggested but not that far off either.

DOGS! Where do they come from? Dogs are born by other dogs. There could be an event centered around a “den mother/pack leader” massive boss-dog that spawns near the end of a mission that has the hunting grounds modifier. Scale up and modify the dog, give it unique attackpatterns. Tentacles? More teeth? More psychic BS and perils of the warp? Yes!

We need enemy variation. More specialists, more sorcery/psykers.

How about a new boss that is like the “mother of the plaguehounds”? Maybe a map or a mission built around it, “Mission: Where do those damned dogs come from?” and you have to find and kill the packmother or something to that effect. An oversized, stronger, faster, and more detailed, more brutal chaoshound, counts as a monstrosity, that can spawn if the condition is Hunting Grounds too?

It does not make any sense they especially should not nerf uncanny strike when everything is armor but they should give much higher scaling to all other weapons into carapace so 75% of them are not useless

My guess on this is that they want to address stealth rushing gameplay. Assuming the dogs move faster than players and also get to see through stealth that might actually kill of H40 cheese strats.

Not a bad concept in itself, but I think there is room for an interesting implementation of it that doesn’t make non-cheese stealth users feel bad

Depends on how the AI director will be behaving in the next update. Who knows? Maybe they fixed it this time, let’s be hopeful here. It’ll definitely all work out this time guys, trust me!

So this is a new Pox Hound with, you guessed it, armour. This enemy is what we could call a sidegrade to the normal Pox Hound. All that armour is giving it more health than the already existing hound, so it’s harder to take down, but at the same time all that metal makes it slower than its less iron clad cousin.

The Pack Master is a fast and heavy bruiser type of an enemy. He won’t have any problem charging into the fray, his big shocking prod ready to bash some agents of the Imperium.

Additionally, what makes him extra scary is that he will be joined by Pox Hounds to help him in combat. Depending on the situation, he can bring along either normal Pox Hounds, the new Armoured Pox Hound
