Since it’s a pre-spawned monstrosity, I assume they’d like to avoid Shroud Hammer zealots instakilling the brand-new enemy, every single time. Funny that they didn’t explain anything, but I’m sure they’ll explore the thematic reasoning before it drops.

There’s no need to be so tight-lipped—why not just go ahead and disclose everything you’re planning to update all at once? Is that really all there is?

Even if the Packmaster has a unique animation and “immunity” to the cyber-mastiff, wouldn’t that already fulfil your dog’s role in distracting or rooting a boss in place? It’s not like the dog attacks are a primary source of damage against monstrosities.

What if DoTs just enraged Dreg Ragers? Damage resistance, increased attack speed, increased movement speed, stagger immunity to Flamer/Purgatus, and insta aggro to whoever’s DoTs are on them - 5s cooldown to prevent aggro tag. Make them a hard counter to DoTs. They’re Dreg Ragers, juiced to the eye…

So we get a bunch of new armored enemy types in a game already plagued by balancing concerns due to ‘Carapace Walls’ being the meta. A game where you only have a few Blitzes and weapons that can deal with these enemy types, while the rest of weapons can’t do much to clear them out in a fast manner. …

Adding an Ogryn boss could be the perfect occasion to fix the long-standing bug of 3 years+ now that prevents Ogryn from climbing over ledges of a certain height, which often leaves him unable to vault in tight situations!
