I can open up the first launcher menu and then the game begins to load, saying initialising, as soon as it changes to waiting for game, it comes up with an error saying game failed to launch and boots me back to steam.
Can you provide more details of the error message?
As a shot in the dark, it may be that your Anti-Virus software or Firewall is interfering.
