I usually hate discord mods power tripping with a passion in general but Dilara and pretty much most of the Darktide warden moderator team is a pretty alright, and literally everyone in the chat was agreeing with her about this guy being extremely hostile, no idea where this “criticism isnt allowed thing” is coming from when this guy was obviously banned for other reasons lol

It seems to me that the warden inflamed the situation, and from memory its not the first time they’ve done that. A member of the moderation team ridiculing the customers and then having them removed from the discord for retaliating is strange.
I mean, not much good ever comes out of that Discord anyway so its no great loss being removed from it.
To be fair, those two things could be related.
Reddit seems to have its own fair share of a*** kissers these days. Funnily enough, I was banned on Darktide’s subreddit on my main account after telling someone that sending the devs death threats wasn’t the right way to express his criticism - my mistake was calling him a “neckbeard” during the course of doing so.
A moderator should be held to a higher standard than directly insulting the very community that they manage. OP’s reaction is still fairly justified.

Any social convention that dictates mutual civility is defenestrated at the exact moment when someone counters a valid argument with an insult.
I’m baffled for - no exageration - 30 years of how poeple think to communicate is OK.

More serious are the excuses like: it was a joke, i didnt mean it this way or in my neighnoorhood, my local language, in my country or at this time of the date this is not meant offending - justifications.
