They didnt used to be! :stuck_out_tongue:

It really depend on which order of sororitas it is, some of them really work for the Inquisition while the majority still work as the Armed Fist of the Ecclesiarchy

Sisters of Silence probably best choice for Inquisition, since they are all Pariahs!

That would be like saying that the Inquisition should use Custodes,

Would do the job perfectly but they donā€™t have to listen to your order, in fact they are higher in the hierarchy than pretty much every Inquisitor

If there are ladders DONT make them use on touching them with the character model. Let us press a button to activate climbing.

Iā€™d rather they just removed ladders and had stairs for everything. Oh and Iā€™d rather not have jumping puzzles either. FIGHTING! not ledge jumping please.

And also please no blocking off previous areas by forcing everyone to jump off a ledge. Thereā€™s so many times either bots have been unwilling to jump and I die trying to do the level solo until they teleport, or someone is just a little too late, gets pounced and dies without anyone being able to do something.

Having someone take a lot of damage because they were pounced and too far away is one thing. Having someone fully die because a ledge is blocking your sight of the special is awful game design.

Stats and Theory Crafting

BIG PLEASE give us some values to work with AND show in stats what they do. I always liked the way SWTOR did this: 1 / 2

Oh and please give us nicely working damage meter and dolls, too.

please have one of the playable characters be adeptus mechanicus or skiitari

Well a Skitarii is part of the Mechanicus, and some people think that the Flamer guy may be a augmented

Useful ranged cc. With the importance of melee in vermintide, ranged cc is a tiny niche that is often not needed. My poor fireball is not always that usefulā€¦

ā€¦ but ranged CC is strong as hell? Fireball, conflagration, hagbane - all of these super strong. Theyā€™re not niche in the slightest when thatā€™s all you see in QP and in high tier content.

If itā€™s the same in Darktide itā€™ll be just as strong, and probably even more important due to the higher priority given to ranged combat.

It is really strong, but not so neededā€¦ half of the time it just blind the melee player and make the party weak against special. (But there are so many ways of playing vermintide, so we probably just describe two different kind of pub!)

I hope that you can play a more customized character instead of a premade.
A little more ā€œRPGā€ to it.
Almost all new games have premade characters.
I would love to be able to choose skin color, melee or ranged fighting style, gender, eye color, voice and so on. Not just the color of an armour or hat.

WH40 guardsmen have endless of possibilities.
Why lock down to only four or five premade types? I think in the long run, custom characters will really spice up the game. A shovel loving kriegsman? A catachan ā€œyoloā€ flamer? Cadian kasrkin plasma specialist? A humourless Mordian Iron Guard bayoneet Assault specialist? A Swift Tallarna Sniper? Some crazy guys and gals from Colonel Schaefferā€™s unit? Elysian Light troopers? Tanith Ghosts? And so on.

Fatshark would love to be able to sell some extra items in the store. And I would buy. As long as there is possible to have an extra small RPG element like customizing your own character.

If some areas of a level are designed to be dark, please give us flashlights built into our armour. The ā€œcarry a torch mechanicā€ from V2 gets dull and annoying after a few games. A flashlight with a narrow beam or night vision googles would still make the darkness atmospheric and restrict our field of view enough to affect game play without taking away our ability to wield weapons. Maybe introduce a Last of Us style flicker if you want illumination to be interactive.

Donā€™t LasGuns count as Flashlights?

I agree though, Torch mechanic for me - on the whole - is not so much fun.

I would like a bit more light variety than in vermintide 2. Idk, in vermintide 2 it look a bit too much dull, too many level with grey + greyish green everywhere, like halecourge, empire in flame, war camp, convocation of the decay, righteous stand, against the grain, festering groundā€¦ they all look kinda similar in tone. They give me similar feeling about all of them, when they are so different. If you change this just a bit it could make them more unique! Like you did in drakenfelts, that was good colour and differentiation.

Squats! As a long-time fan of dwarfs, please give us a squat character! Please and thank you.

Aye, at the very least weapons need flashlight attachments like in the trailer.

If they do play around with light, itā€™d be need to have stronger chaos enemies e.g. demons maybe warp the light around them a little, give them some sort of aura that distorts it.

Yeah, especially in a futuristic city you would expect more variety in colours due to access to paints/dyes and artificial lights. Sure, 40k tends to err towards dark/gothic for the Imperium (barring pleasure worlds and other things that lean more towards Slaanesh), but it would be neat way to play around with the setting too, e.g. you take a lift out of a dark, grease-and-soot-covered manufactory lit only by forgefires to a disorientingly bright area filled with stores and nightclubs with cheerful, maybe even gaudy, colours, thatā€™s been entirely overrun by hordes of rotting, Nurgle-infused horrors.

Do we have any info about the voice acting?
As a long time VT2 player Iā€™m really really REEEEEALLY hoping that the banter from VT will be kept.
Makes my day any time when hearing some of the rare chit-chats lines and the general love-hate relation for the teammembers. Havent played any other game where the random banter is so well done, so pretty please FS, go hunt some voice actors and record those ridicolous lines.
