Darkness modifier to be like in Darktide

Hello,

i really enjoy the new overworked modifier of Darkness in Darktide, where it is not anymore completely dark but with the background lights of the environment. It really looks very atmospheric. Is it possible from technical side to rework the darkness modifier in Vermintide in the same way and if yes is it something that has any decent chance to get integrated for Vermintide in the remaining product life cycle?

Thank you very much in advance.

Darkness exists in Darktide because it fits the premise of the game, you are deep in the bowels of a massive prison ship, in deep space, and some areas of the ship are naturally dark or pitch black. This is consistently seen in Warhammer 40K lore and media.

However, it would make no sense for the world to become pitch black all of a sudden in Vermintide, as most maps feature outdoor environments or interiors that branch outdoors at different points during the map. Pitch black environments are never shown or described in any End Times lore or media. There is simply no reason for it in the End Times and it wouldn’t fit the theme of a Warhammer Fantasy setting at all.

Isnt it fairly usual for it to be very dark outside at night outside citites? Unless your up and about far north enough that the sun doesnt set for half the year.

Given that i think it wouldnt be unreasonable to go"its night but the moon is bright so one can still see a bit" or such.
