“Damage Resistance (Tox Flamers)”, which actually works on both enemies, “Dreg Tox Flamer” and “Scab Flamer”.
Not as written in the text description, only for the “Tox Flamers” effective.

These two enemies are attacked by melee attacks, flames, and flames that form a continuously burning flaming ground.

Close attack damage for both enemies: 50

Green flame direct attack damage: -2-3-3-7-7-5 = 27

Yellow flame direct attack damage: -3-2-8-3-5-5 = 26

Green and yellow flame ground damage: 8 every 0.5 seconds

“Damage Resistance (Tox Flamers)”, a damage resistance phrase, is only effective against melee attacks
50X0.8X0.8X0.8=25.6
Damage from melee attacks for both enemies: 50 → 25.6

Cannot reduce direct damage from flames, nor can it reduce damage from flaming ground

However, another damage resistance can reduce the damage caused by flaming ground, and that is the “Damage Resistance (Bursters)” entry.
8X0.8=6.4
Green and yellow flame ground damage: 8 every 0.5 seconds → 6.4 every 0.5 seconds

I would love that they remove the word “tox”. It should give resist for both. We see so few flamers in the game, that restricting to the Tox flamer would make this perk not interesting.
Btw, if it doesn’t give resist to flames… then it is useless.
