Daemonhost Logic/griefing with Player Disconnects

I had a lovely weekened and decided to play a little darktide after all. I hope you all had a great weekend too. I ran into a behavior issue with Daemonhosts that is really unpleasant and easily exploitable behavior that could be used for griefing, though this was not done in my case.

Scenario

  1. A daemonhost is triggered
  2. Two players die by any cause including the player that triggered the host
  3. Both of these players disconnect
  4. These players are replaced by bots

Expected behavior

  • The daemonhost dissappears

Actual Behavior

  • the daemonhost remains and picks a 3rd human target to kill
  • the daemonhost remains and picks a 4th character to kill (in my case a bot)

Also, to add insult to injury, the remaining bot stole the only medicae charge and i was forced to clutch a hi-int damnation with 20HP. :joy:

Just adding to this, if the demon host starts eating a downed bot and it is replaced with a player it can bug out being invisible and intangible, teleporting around to a 3rd player. It will kill the 3rd player after a while of course, but usually takes some time for it to do it.
