Crouch-Cover Objects Ineffective most of the time

From playing solely Zealot, there are many times i need to slide to a box to reload and take cover from several ranged enemies… what i find most irritating is 90% of the time those enemies with lasguns, and even snipers, while I am crouch and but as close and deep into the provided cover (small boxes/bins style cover in the middle of hallways)… I will ALWAYS find myself being shot still by stray bullets and again… snipers… .in what feels is suppsoed to be designed as “full cover” to allow melee characters, and others, to reload, regain toughness and advance on enemies.

While you don’t always die instantly from this, it makes these cover pieces useless and a hazard to avoid as you get your reloads interrupted, never get to regain toughness and often take chip damage while dealing nothing back… so you might as well run elsewear, straight at the enemy, or accept your demise.

… TLDNR: please raise the crouch-cover objects slightly taller to ACTUALLY provide effective cover – this applies to almost every map and style of those cover blocks, railings, etc.

I think a better option would be a change to the ai to stop shooting at players behind cover and relocate their positions to flank and spawn bombers to flush players out.

Did you make a tall or short character?

Because that apparently matters when it comes to how efficient certain cover will be.

Characters with the height slider set to the lowest value will normally not get shot while behind waist height cover, while characters with the slider set to the highest value will get shot when hiding behind the same cover.
