I think Crossplay should be added to Vermintide 2,
this game is just too good, too unique and fun, crossplay for PC PS and XBOX will keep playerbase for a longer time
and shorter waiting time to find players to start a mission

Console and Pc have different balancing system (due to console not being able to have as many units on screen)
How is it that Darktide is cross-platform then? I’ve played hundreds of hours in both games and I feel confident in saying that Darktide has a LOT more clutter on screen at any given moment. Vermintide is an older game. It doesn’t make any logical sense for one to work while the less modern one to not work.
Peer to peer (player hosting) vs Server based.

They should give Vermintide 2 dedicated servers then, p2p sucks.
Vermintide 1&2 released on last gen consoles Darktide released on current gen consoles.
I hope they do an anniversary edition or something maybe for the 10th anniversary.
Ditch Xbox one and PS4 and then you can have a new version with all current gen Series and PS5, new PC version and a Switch 2 version. Some form of save transfer. All having full crossplay. And you can add some extra bells and whistles on their too. Having the game be split into three platforms is a real shame and will hold it back as time goes on.
But having a new version with 4 platforms in a single connected crossplay community would definitely keep numbers up.
