Crashing When Joining for Quick Play

Issue Description:
I can not join any quick-play games. I don’t know why all of a sudden it does not work anymore. I tried doing a custom game and entering a map and that seems to work. I have tried verifying the files as well as reinstalling the whole game

You’re encountering a Deadlock crash here. Have you made any recent changes or updates to your PC?

I appreciate that you’ve tried verifying files and reinstalling (which are our usual suggestions in this scenario) but can you please try performing a clean reinstallation:

I have not made any changes to my pc. I have just tried doing a clean reinstallation folliwng the instructions of the link sent and it still unforuntunatly does not work.

@Dav, hm okay! It seems we’ve received a few other identical reports in the past 24 hours. Our Engine Developers are currently investigating - just curious, what region are you playing from and which ISP do you use?

Another player was able to resolve a similar issue by changing an Anti-Virus setting.

Curious, which Anti-Virus software do you use? Could this be of help to you also?

Yes, I use Bitdefender as well. I have just tried the solution and it appears to be working.

Thanks for confirming and glad to hear that :slight_smile: Bitdefender appears to have been the culprit for all players affected so far.
