Crashing in hub especially when interacting with vendors

Issue Description:
Since this morning I have been getting freezes and crashes in the hub. It happens occasionally while walking around the hub, and happens every time I talk to a vendor.

The screen freezes for a couple seconds, and then crashes to desktop with no error.

I “verified integrity of game files” in steam. It found 4 files and said it would reacquire them, but this did not fix the issue.

Next I did a complete reinstall of the game, and also did a clean install of GPU drivers. Since then I have not had any crashes in the hub.
