Crash to Desktop when selecting Sister of the Thorn

When I click the portrait to select Sister of the Thorn, the game crashes to desktop, every time. All other careers work fine. This is similar to a report of scrambled save data for a user in 2023 after a patch.

It looks like the game is crashing when trying to play the Sister of the Thorn career video. Please try verifying integrity of game files:

1. Right-click Vermintide 2 in your Steam library sidebar
2. Select ‘Properties’
3. Select the ‘Local Files’ tab
4. Select the ‘Verify the Integrity of Game Files’ button
5. When complete, close and reopen Steam
