When starting Vermintide 2 via steam the launcher comes up and lets me choose the settings and resolution.
No matter which settings i change or even the resolution, i keep getting this error.

I know that this is a graphical issue, however it shouldnt occur on a pc with a high end gpu, all drivers up to date. No updates for it, reinstalled vermintide 2 tried different DX versions. Nothing seems to work, really dissapointed as i wanted to try the game with a friend of mine.
Would love to hear back soon as to what the issue could be.
I’m wondering if a background application could be interfering and resulting in your issue.
Could you please try performing a Selective Startup by:
Press the Windows key
Type ‘msconfig’ and select ‘System Configuration’
On the ‘General’ tab, select ‘Selective Startup’
Deselect ‘Load startup Items’
Reboot your PC
Launch Vermintide 2 as normal
If the error no longer persists after having performed the Selective Startup, you will need to re-enable each of your usual background applications one-by-one until the error reoccurs, to determine which is the culprit.
