Sorry to hear this. Could you try lowering your ‘Worker Thread’ count within the launcher’s ‘Settings’ menu, to see if that improves stability at all?

Ill let you know, but i lowered it from 9 to 6, and so far i was able to play 3 games without problems.

I get the same error when launching the game. I ran DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth in cmd prmpt as admin and sfc /scannow. This fixed something, but did nothing for Darktide. Then I reinstalled Adrenalin drivers, didn’t work so I tried the AMDcleanup utility then reinstalling drivers. This didn’t work either. Setting worker threads to a lower number than available threads doesn’t do anything.

The strange thing is that I played the new campaign earlier today without any issues and closed Darktide. The access violation error reared its ugly head a few hours later and here I am.

For inscutrable reasons the game works now, I didn’t do anything further than what I described in my previous post.

Its been quite a good amount of games and it seems to be fixed. I raised the amount of threads to 8, and its still working properly.
So in the first 6 hours, before i tryed this, i had 7 crashes, one of them big ( freezing the whole computer and forcing a restart)
After lowering working threads i have played 10 more hours, without any issues.

My guess is that its fixed, but if it comes back, ill let you know. Otherwise, consider this solved.
