Issue Description (Required):
While playing, my weapon is constantly changed.
Notice: I had to change the mouse because the old mouse had an issue with double-clicking. The new mouse is a Logitech G502 X. I have had the issue since I got the new mouse. And the corresponding software Logitech G Hub is installed too.
Your mouse wheel is moving, press the button below it to lock it in position or like I did just unbind mouse wheel from weapon swapping. (WARNING: You can no longer scroll the TAB screen without MW bound to weapon swap because FS are incompetent.)
The game does that isht anyway and will swap weapons on people for no good reason, has done since it came out but has gotten worse recently.
The Mod “Guarantee Weapon Swap” helps with this as it prevents us from button mashing so much and having the server decide to act on those inputs way after we make them making the weapon swaps seem uncommanded.
It’s just something this jank game does, but doing these things improves things slightly.
I went through FOURTEEN mice (thanks Amazon no quibble returns) making sure it wasn’t just me.
Edit: Another thing that helps that I forgot, Unbinding Q from “Swap Weapon” and using 1/2 only as that swap weapon system is pure jank.
I have a keyboard profile just for DT - I have 1 and 2 set to be Q and Tab, and I have Q and Tab set to Melee and Ranged respectively. So I have 1 and Q buttons set to Melee and Tab and 2 are ranged.
I had a Corsair mouse, which did not show that behavior. But after your message, I think it must indeed be a game bug if this happens with 14 different mice. Sometimes the weapons were even changed if not pressing on the wheel at all.
