Console Communication Wheel

I play on console, and the communication wheel could use improvement.

I’m constantly exclaiming I need ammo when trying to tag enemies, the choices are limited, and when using the wheel for comms, it’s very sensitive and I could easily slip into asking for ammo again when I’m trying to thank a teammate for a res or heal.

It is hella frustrating and embarrassing. The Vermintide 2 wheel is so very much better.

Console players could really use a longer delay to access the wheel, at least 0.35s instead of the 0.05s it feels like.

Console players should have access to Yes and No.

Console players should get a SLIGHT slowdown to the sensitivity of the wheel choices, to make choosing easier in motion and combat.

Thank you for coming to my DarkTed Talk

It needs an overhaul. Even if I select ‘cheer’ it somehow ends up with me asking for ammo. I’d also really appreciate a ‘help’ option given the lack of awareness of other players at times.

That’s true I wish there was a way to disable the need ammo or healing haha it definitely can trigger people if they think you’re spamming it

I’m on PC but I play with some people who play on console. Fatshark could definitely show a bit love to console players. The weapon wheel is a good start but I’d even go ahead and make some of the simple popular mods part of the game. I’m talking about things like ChatBlock that makes your character block while in the menu or chat and stuff like a light version of NumericUI. Seeing how much ammo you gain and would waste from a pickup is such a QoL update I would never want to give up again.

Also the option to bind your input yourself instead of just some presets would be good. One of my friends had a problem using throwing knifes because the blitz was on one of the 4 buttons on the right, which needed him to put his thumb away from the stick which he obviously needs to aim them.

The “I need Ammo” thing is so weird that it never got fixed. Increasing the timer of how long you have to hold spot to open the wheel is literally just replacing a number if one knows where that is in the files.
