Finally got to try it and gotta say, yeah, sorry, you’re crazy cynical/jaded if you don’t like this event. It’s probably the best one since I came in with unlocked and loaded. The auric damn missions are havoc-lites and i wish and hope upon a star that all aurics would stay that way.
And you don’t even have to come close to interacting with 12k skulls, that’s just silly nonsense.

I mean I get it, it’s an extra step, but there were quite a few complaints about the last skulls being so boring (just getting headshot kills). I think they took that feedback to heart, and (although that wasn’t my complaint), I think that was a good move.

how do fingers tire?
been doing farming runs in mmos back in the day for 16+hours picking ore etc 
conan exiles same thing… though not as many hours anymore being now 45 
whats a little skull picking in comparison?

edit: one of the few “positive” side effects of my treatment is having to chug quite a few cortison pills to help overall progress.
this in itself fights inflamations.
add to that if you never taken that stuff before, and in my case act very susceptiple to it (and i never did “drugs” in my life), i’d compare it to a mild cocaine boost.
in german we say “geht ab wie schmitz katz”
usually an energy drink on top to help the pills go down and i made myself my own blue stim

Would be better if you could just pick it up by walking past it, but whatever. I think it’s fine and it’s a hell of a lot better than the last couple of events.

As far as I know the Skulls are picked up by the entire team, as in if you pick one up, everyone gets a skull.
As mentioned, 250 from the totems as well so maybe that can help you. Tell the team you will try to focus on enemies and they can pick up skulls.
You likely click a ton already for melee and shooting, but I get it, shy add more.
I would also suggest looking into your habits if you are at risk of bodily damage. I’m no doctor so I don’t know what you’re supposed to do. Personally I would look into what I could do tho’. Training, changing mouse and keyboard (vertical mouse? Controller? Padded handrest? etc.).
While I do agree that an auto/proximity pickup would have worked well for this event, it is a bit far fetched to link carpal tunnel syndrome to the Skulls clicking.

I really should look into a vertical mouse sometime. Ideally I’d want one with more than 5 buttons. Good news is I already have a handrest.
I guess you’re right that this is an overreaction, but I’m a little bummed we can’t at least shoot them.
u get 250 skulls progress for destroying a totem u dont even need to pick them up, the progress from the totems alone is fast enough. im not picking them up anymore its just tedious

The Totems and Spec/Spawn ambush is pretty fun not going to lie. It can easily get out of control though if the Totem is destroyed during a mixed horde event.
i tried shooting at those things but they don’t break

the totems? i never wasted ammo on them. if they break from ranged at all, it’s probably a lot. just smack them hard.

I bought an Azeron gamepad and never looked back. I hear their mouse options are good too but thats not the hand bugging me as much.
